INSTRUCTIONS (STANDARD TUBES)

Fix-A-Floor Repair Adhesive is an Extra Strength Formula customised for the specific

use of Re-Bonding Loose & Hollow Tile, Marble, Stone & Wood Floors without the expense & mess of removing or replacing. Patented tip with clear cut lines allows for multiple applications.

COVERAGE: One 300ml Fix-A-Floor Tube covers approximately 2 x 2 ft. (4 sq. ft.)

TO OPEN TUBE: Pull cap off top of the tip, unscrew tip off the tube. Use a 2.5mm drill bit, drill straight down into the top of the threaded tube nub. Next, poke a hole with awl through end of tip or cut to a customised larger size depending on grout width. Screw tip back onto the tube. Keep tube upright until ready to use to avoid spillage.

DIRECTIONS FOR TILE, MARBLE & STONE FLOORS:

  1. Locate loose or hollow problem areas by tapping with wooden dowel. Mark perimeter of problem areas with chalk. 
  2. Drill: use a masonry drill bit 2.5mm, 3mm, 4mm or LARGER, that barely fits between the tiles without touching the tiles. Drill 2-4 holes on each side of the tile depending on the size of the tile. Drill STRAIGHT down into the grout lines (do not contact tiles with drill bit). Do not drill into the sub floor!
  3. Vacuum over each hole to remove debris, preferably with a vacuum hose. Tapping lightly with a rubber mallet helps to loosen debris.
  4. Fill: For best results we recommended using a 10:1 Thrust Ratio, Non-Dripless Caulk Gun. Slowly inject Fix-A-Floor into each hole, IMPORTANTLY, pause in-between pumps to allow adhesive to exit. Do not press tip down onto sub-floor, slow & gentle pressure will keep adhesive from escaping out the back. Put finger over tip when moving from hole to hole to avoid spillage. If one hole proves problematic, simply move on to another. The adhesive should spill out of nearby holes, this ensures complete coverage & filling of the problematic area.
  5. Weight: Place 1/2 filled bucket of water or weighted object on treated areas. Clean up any excess Fix-A-Floor with wet sponge & water as necessary.

Allow to cure for minimum of 24 hours.

  1. Grout: When Dry; fill drilled holes with matching grout. For any excess residue, grab the Fix-A-Floor Residue Remover!

DIRECTIONS FOR WOOD FLOORS:

  1. Follow Directions from #1 for Tile.
  2. Pull cap off top of the tip, unscrew tip off the tube, use a 2.5mm drill bit, drill straight down into the top of the threaded tube nub. If needed poke hole with awl through tip to clear, screw tip back on Do Not Cut Tip!
  3. Drill: Inside the problematic area using a 2.5mm drill bit, drill at least 2 holes or more if required. Do not drill through Sub-Floor. Vacuum over each hole to remove debris.
  4. Fill: Follow Directions from #4 for Tile.
  5. Place 1/2 filled bucket(s) of water on subject areas. Wipe clean with wet sponge and allow to cure for 24 hours. Fix-A-Floor Repair Adhesive dries clear! Visit a local DIY store to locate matching wood putty/filler & fill holes.
